VENDOR ST. MARY'S CHURCH UNDER THRISSUR ARCH DIOCESE - The St. Mary’s Church, Vendor, under Thrissur Arch Diocese, Kerala State celebrated the annual feast on January 9th and 10th, 2016. The procession is an integral part of the festival. Procession has to reach the St. George Chapel beside the Panchayath office. The Vicar Fr. Anto Kanjirathinkal instead of reaching the Chapel preferred to stop the procession at a temporary shelter. The shelter was constructed across the public road obstructing traffic. The CBCI had very clearly given directions to all the Parishes not to obstruct traffic in connection with the church celebrations. The vicar had very clearly violated the CBCI directions.
