ബിഷപ്പുമാര്‍ യേശുവിനെയാണോ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നത് ?

മുകളിലെ ഫോട്ടോയില്‍ കാണുന്ന ഇന്നത്തെ ദീപിക പത്രം വായിച്ചിട്ട്, തികച്ചും മനോവിഷമത്തോടും അല്പ്പം ദേഷ്യത്തോടെയും ആണ് ഈ പോസ്റ്റ്‌ എഴുതുന്നത്‌. നമ്മുടെ ബിഷപ്പുമാര്‍ക്ക്  പോലീസ് അകമ്പടി. സി ബി സി ഐ സമ്മേളനം നടക്കുന്നിടത്ത് പോലീസ് കണ്ട്രോള്‍ റൂം. ഈ ബിഷപ്പുമാര്‍ ആരെയാണ് പേടിക്കുന്നത്. ഈ നാട്ടിലെ സാധുക്കളായ മനുഷ്യരെയോ? അതോ ഏതെങ്കിലും വര്‍ഗീയ വാദികളെയോ? മരിക്കുമെന്ന ഭയമാണോ ഇതിനെല്ലാം പ്രേരിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. അതോ പേരിനും പ്രശസ്തിക്കും വേണ്ടിയിട്ടോ? വര്‍ഗീയവാദികളുടെ വെട്ടെറ്റും തീയില്‍ കത്തിക്കപെട്ടും ഈശോയുടെ നാമത്തില്‍ പിടഞ്ഞു മരിച്ച നമ്മുടെ മിഷനറിമാരെ മറന്നു നിങ്ങള്‍. ഒരു സുരക്ഷിദത്വവും ഇല്ലാതെ ഇന്നും വടക്കേ ഇന്ത്യയിലും ഇസ്ലാമിക രാജ്യങ്ങളിലും വേല ചെയ്യുന്ന നമ്മുടെ തന്നെ സഹോദരങ്ങളെ മറന്നു നിങ്ങള്‍. ഈശോക്കുവെണ്ടി രക്തസാക്ഷിത്വം വരിച്ച എല്ലാ രക്തസാക്ഷികളേയും അപ്പസ്തൊലന്മരെയും നിങ്ങള്‍ അപമാനിക്കുകയാണ് ഇതിലൂടെ. കുരിശിലെറിയ ഈശോയെ പ്രഘോഷിക്കുന്ന നിങ്ങള്‍, ആ ഈശോയെ ഒറ്റു കൊടുക്കുകയാണ് ഇത്തരം പ്രവര്‍ത്തികളിലൂടെ. പെണ്ണും പിടക്കോഴിയും ഇല്ലാത്ത നിങ്ങള്‍,  ആര്‍ക്ക്‌ വേണ്ടിയാണ് ജീവിതം സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നത്? നിങ്ങള്‍ സുരക്ഷിത വലയങ്ങളില്‍ ആയിരുന്നു കാണുന്നതിനെക്കാള്‍, ഈശോയുടെ മാത്രം സംരക്ഷണത്തില്‍ ആയിരുന്നു കാണാന്നാണ് ഞങ്ങള്‍ അല്‍മായര്‍ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നത്. അതിനിടെ നിങ്ങള്‍ ആക്രമിക്കപ്പെട്ടാലും വധിക്കപ്പെട്ടാലും അതില്‍ അഭിമാനിക്കും ഞങ്ങള്‍. 

ഈശോയുടെ വചനം മനസില്‍ ഓര്‍ക്കുന്നത്‌ നല്ലതാണ്. " സ്വന്തം ജീവന്‍ നഷ്ടപ്പെടുത്തുന്നവര്‍ അത് കണ്ടെത്തും."

Modi is coming to Kochi to take part in the centenary celebrations of the Lake Agitation, organized by Kerala Pulayar Maha Sabha.

BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi is moving closer to some sections of Christians in Kerala as general elections are fast approaching.

A few noted Christian organizations have invited Modi to their headquarters, when he is in Kerala for two public rallies on Feb 9. However, to avoid antagonizing other Christian bodies, Modi will be meeting the bishops separately at an alternative venue, reported Deccan Chronicle.

Though the state BJP is maintaining that it is too early to reveal more on the matter, it is being said that they will take part in the public rally in Marine Drive, Kochi.

Modi, the divisive BJP leader and three time chief minister of Gujarat, is coming to Kochi to take part in the centenary celebrations of the Lake Agitation, organized by Kerala Pulayar Maha Sabha.

“Though I don’t want to reveal the identity of the Christian organizations at this juncture, they have invited Modi to their headquarters. But Modi will not be going there. However, he will meet them at a different venue," said BJP state chief, V. Muraleedharan.

Prior to the Kochi rally, Modi will be taking part in another rally at Shanghumugham beach in state capital Thiruvanthapuram at 4 pm.

Muraleedharan had also held talks with Modi prior to the National Council meet on finalizing the procedures of the two rallies. BJP national president Rajnath Singh will also be attending both the public rallies.

Vatican City: Pope Francis on Wednesday (Jan. 15) took his biggest step yet at cleaning house at the scandal-ridden Vatican Bank, replacing most of the institution’s advisers with fresh faces.

Among the new appointees: Vatican Secretary of State and Cardinal-designate Pietro Parolin; Cardinal Christoph Schoenborn from Vienna; Cardinal Thomas Collins of Toronto; and veteran diplomat Cardinal Santos Abril y Castello, a close friend of the pontiff’s.

French Cardinal Jean-Louis Tauran is the lone cardinal adviser who was retained.

Francis’ move essentially undid a decree issued last year by his predecessor, Pope Benedict XVI, who confirmed the Vatican Bank’s supervisory body for another five years, just days before announcing his retirement. The most high-profile figure sacked on Wednesday was Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone, Benedict’s secretary of state and the face of administrative woes of Benedict’s papacy.

Officially known as the Institute for Religious Works, the Vatican Bank plays an essential role in helping facilitate the Vatican’s role in confronting poverty worldwide. But it has also been connected with widespread corruption and money laundering.

Last July, a priest and Vatican accountant Nunzio Scarano — nicknamed “Monsignor 500″ because of his taste for 500-euro banknotes — was arrested and accused of smuggling nearly $30 million into Italy from Switzerland. In 2012, Ettore Gotti Tedeschi was ousted as bank president after being accused of incompetence.

That same year, U.S. banker JPMorgan closed its accounts with the bank, and Deutsche Bank Italia ended a 15-year relationship, making the Holy See a cash-only state for several months.

Since becoming pope last March, Francis has repeatedly railed against corruption, and his reforms at the bank are quickly becoming a test case for those efforts.

തിങ്കളാഴ്ച സാന്താ മാര്‍ത്തയില്‍ വച്ചുള്ള കുര്‍ബാനക്കിടെ ഫ്രാന്‍സീസ് പാപ്പാ പൗരോഹിത്യത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു സംസാരിച്ചു. നല്ല ഒരു വൈദികന്‍ ദൈവജനത്തിനുവേണ്ടി ദൈവത്താല്‍ അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടവനാണ്. അങ്ങനൊരാള്‍ക്ക് യേശുവുമായി അടുത്ത ബന്ധമുണ്ടായിരിക്കും. “ക്രിസ്തുവുമായുള്ള വ്യക്തിപരമായ ബന്ധം നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടാല്‍ വൈദികന്‍ വെറും വിഗ്രഹാരാധകനായി മാറും, ആത്മാനുരാഗിയും.” യോഹന്നാന്റെ ലേഖനത്തില്‍ നിന്നായിരുന്നു ആദ്യത്തെ വായന. അതിനെ ആസ്പദമാക്കി പാപ്പാ പറഞ്ഞു: “പുരോഹിതന്റെ ശക്തി ക്രിസ്തുവുമായുള്ള ബന്ധത്തിലാണ്. ഈശോയ്ക്ക് ജനപിന്തുണ വര്‍ധിച്ചു വന്നപ്പോള്‍ അവന്‍ മരുഭൂമിയിലേക്കു പിന്‍വാങ്ങി പിതാവിനോടു സംസാരിച്ചിരുന്നു.” പൗരോഹിത്യത്തിന്റെ ഉരകല്ല് യേശുവുമായുള്ള ബന്ധമാണെന്ന് പാപ്പാ പറഞ്ഞു. “എന്റെ പൗരോഹിത്യ ജീവിതത്തില്‍ യേശുവിനുള്ള സ്ഥാനമെന്താണ്? ഒരു ശിഷ്യന് ഗുരുവിനോടുള്ള സജീവബന്ധമാണോ അത്? അതോ സഹോദരന് സഹോദരരോടുള്ള ബന്ധം? ഒരു നിസ്വന് ദൈവത്തോടുള്ള ബന്ധമോ? അതോ ഹൃദയത്തില്‍ നിന്നും മുളപൊട്ടാത്ത കൃത്രിമ ബന്ധമാണോ അത്?” “ദൈവാത്മാവിലാണ് നാം അഭിഷിക്തരായിരിക്കുന്നത്. എന്നാല്‍ ക്രിസ്തുവില്‍ നിന്നും നാം അകന്നാല്‍ നമുക്ക് ഈ അഭിഷേകം നഷ്ടപ്പെടും. അഭിഷിക്തന്‍ എന്നതിനുപകരം നാം വെറും സ്തുതിപാഠകനും മധുരവചനക്കാരനുമായി അധഃപതിക്കും. ഇത്തരം പുരോഹിതര്‍ സഭയ്ക്ക് എന്ത് അപകടമാണ് ചെയ്യുന്നതെന്നോ! ഇവര്‍ ചിത്രശലഭ- വൈദികരാണ് പൊങ്ങച്ചക്കാരാണ്. ഇത്തരക്കാര്‍ക്ക് ക്രിസ്തുവുമായി യഥാര്‍ത്ഥത്തില്‍ ബന്ധമില്ല.” “വൈദികരായ നമുക്ക് വളരെയേറെ കുറവുകളുണ്ട്. നമ്മള്‍ പാപികളാണ്. എന്നാല്‍ നമ്മള്‍ ക്രിസ്തുവിലേക്കു തിരിയുമെങ്കില്‍, പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥനയില്‍ അവനില്‍ ശരണം തേടുന്നുവെങ്കില്‍ പാപികളാണെങ്കിലും നമ്മള്‍ നല്ല വൈദികരായിത്തീരും. എന്നാല്‍ നമ്മള്‍ യേശുവില്‍ നിന്നും അകലെയാണെങ്കില്‍, അവന് പകരമായി നമ്മള്‍ മറ്റുപലതിനെയും നമ്മുടെ ജീവിതത്തിലേക്ക് പ്രവേശിപ്പിക്കും…” “വൈദികരായി ജീവിതം സമര്‍പ്പിച്ചവരെ കാണുക സന്തോഷകരമാണ്. മറിച്ച് വിഗ്രഹാരാധകരായ വൈദികരെ ജനം തിരിച്ചറിയും. അതായത് യേശുവിന് പകരം ചെറിയ ചെറിയ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ കൊണ്ടു നടക്കുന്നവരെ. ഇവര്‍ ആത്മാനുരാഗികളാണ്. യേശുവുമായുള്ള ബന്ധമാണ് നമ്മളെ ഇത്തരം വിഗ്രഹാരാധനയില്‍ നിന്നും രക്ഷിക്കുന്നത്. നമ്മുടെ അഭിഷേകത്തില്‍ നമ്മെ നിലനിര്‍ത്തുന്നതും ഈ ബന്ധം തന്നെയാണ്. “ഇന്ന് എന്നോടൊപ്പം ബലിയര്‍പ്പിക്കുന്ന നിങ്ങളിലുള്ള എന്റെ പ്രത്യാശ ഇതു തന്നെയാണ്. ജീവിതത്തില്‍ മറ്റ് എന്ത് നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടാലും യേശുവുമായുള്ള ബന്ധം നിങ്ങള്‍ നഷ്ടപ്പെടുത്തരുത്. അതാണ് നിങ്ങളുടെ വിജയം. അതുമായി നിങ്ങള്‍ മുന്നോട്ടുപോകുക.”
